DAY 12/160

Dear Baby Milline,

Yesterday I told you that I was going on a photo walk this morning. Well I made it and was able to walk with about 24 other photography enthusiast. We were able to share stories with one another, talk about gear and most importantly explore the city. I found some gems today I was not aware of and so happy I joined today's walk to locate them.

I also so some things along the way that sadden me Baby Milline. The less fortunate are all over this city and many struggle with addictions. Addictions to alcohol and more powerful drugs like crack, heroine, and meth. I'm not certain what I stumbled upon today it it was an awakening to how good life is.

Baby Milline I know that peer pressure can get the best of us, but I pray your peers never take you down this path of self destruction.

The remainder of the day was spent editing photos and watching college football. Howard University, my alma mater, lost today 38-31. However, Virginia State is 2-0 thus your mother is happy.

I'm attempting to prepare mentally for this storm coming our way. I pray it's not as strong as they are making it out to be. But if so I must do my job to the best of my abilities.

Until then...

Love You Baby Milline,

Your Father
